What happened after Food Paradise?
The 'Best of the Midwest' episode featured Pie Sci Pizza, a Detroit pizzeria on Trumbull Avenue that also runs a second location in Oak Park, Michigan. Pie Sci offers a special brunch menu on Sundays along with delivery and catering, according to the restaurant's own site. A September 8, 2026 check of piescipizza.com found the site live with 2026 copyright dating, an online ordering system, and listed hours of 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and Sunday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, according to piescipizza.com. The same check found a posted holiday notice about a Martin Luther King Jr. Day closure for that Monday, indicating the page was being actively maintained, and the site continued to promote its newer online-ordering feature, according to piescipizza.com.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
