What happened after Food Paradise?

On Travel Channel's "Food Paradise" (season 4, 2013), Doe's Eat Place was featured for its steaks and Southern sides, served from a kitchen still set up inside a former grocery store building. According to Wikipedia (revised 2026-03-29), the restaurant was founded in Greenville, Mississippi, in 1941 by Dominick "Big Doe" Signa and his wife Mamie, in a building his family had run as a grocery since the early 1900s. The restaurant's own website, checked 2026-09-08, carried a copyright date of 2026 and an HTTP last-modified header dated 2026-09-08, and it listed current weekend hours, all consistent with continued operation under the same family-founded name. The site's navigation also referenced a franchise program and additional locations, indicating the original Greenville restaurant has since become the flagship of a small regional chain. No change in ownership or location was found in the sources reviewed for this update.
