What happened after Food Paradise?

Food Paradise's "Off-the-Chain Eats" episode (S18E2) featured Rosebud on Rush, an Italian restaurant on North Rush Street that is part of the long-running Rosebud Restaurants group in Chicago. The listing on the show identified the business as "Rosebud on Bush," but Google Places and the restaurant's own website both list the same Rush Street address under the name Rosebud on Rush, indicating a spelling variant rather than a different business. A direct check of the Rosebud Restaurants website on 2026-09-08 returned the Rosebud on Rush location page loading normally, with posted weekly hours and a working online-ordering link alongside the group's other Chicago-area locations, including Taylor Street, Deerfield, Lemont, and Naperville. The page text found during that check listed hours through Sunday at 720 N Rush St. No separate news coverage, closure notice, or ownership change was located for this location during the check, and the page did not carry an explicit 2026 copyright date.
