What happened after Food Paradise?

The episode featured SafeHouse's spy-themed dining experience: a disguised entrance requiring a password, interactive spy gadgets, and scavenger-hunt-style activities alongside a burger-forward menu. SafeHouse Chicago was a restaurant and bar in the River North neighborhood, opened as a Chicago outpost of the original Milwaukee SafeHouse concept, according to Time Out Chicago (2016-12-05). According to NBC Chicago, SafeHouse Chicago closed on 2023-03-06 after six years, with the business saying online it had completed its "last mission" and thanking guests for their support. Google Places listed the location's business status as permanently closed (checked 2026-09-08), and the restaurant's website returned a server error on the same date. The server error returned by the restaurant's website that day was specifically an HTTP 503 response.
