What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?

Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives featured The Smoking Swine, a Baltimore barbecue food truck billed on its own materials as 'Baltimore's Home of Underground BBQ,' for its Carolina-style pulled pork sandwiches and smoked beef short ribs, part of the 'Smoke and Seafood' episode that aired 2016-03-11. The mobile operation built its following on Southern-style smoked meats, rounding out the menu with bratwurst and other smokehouse classics served from a rotating list of Baltimore-area stops rather than a fixed storefront. According to a Yelp listing for the truck, its page was updated in May 2026 and marks the business as closed. The operator's Facebook page separately carries a memorial post for a L. Drew Pumphrey, a detail consistent with the truck no longer operating, though neither the closure date nor the post's date could be confirmed.
