In the 'Smoke and Seafood' episode, which aired 2016-03-11, Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives featured The Fish House in Key Largo for its smoked fish dip and just-caught yellowtail snapper. The seafood market and restaurant, a fixture on the Overseas Highway for more than three decades, fillets fish fresh daily and offers to smoke a guest's catch to order.

The Fish House, a seafood restaurant and market at 102401 Overseas Highway in Key Largo, buys only whole fish from local commercial fishermen and fillets each catch on-site, according to the restaurant's own description, and will also cook a customer's own catch. The original listing gave only a Florida state abbreviation with no city; research identified the business as The Fish House in Key Largo, roughly 100 miles up the Keys from Key West.
