What happened after Best Thing I Ever Ate?
Best Thing I Ever Ate's 'Supreme Sweets' episode featured a dessert from Brooklyn Diner, an upscale retro diner chain built by restaurateur Shelly Fireman around oversized comfort-food portions and classic soda-fountain treats. The Times Square location operates at 155 West 43rd Street, one of two Manhattan Brooklyn Diner addresses along with an original on West 57th Street. A site check on 2026-09-07 found the restaurant's own website listing current hours — Thursday 8am-10pm, Friday and Saturday 8am-11pm — alongside a working online-ordering system. Yelp's listing for the 43rd Street address, updated 2026-08, remains active rather than marked closed, and 2026 customer reviews describe the location's convenient Midtown spot, wide menu, and family-friendly service.
