What happened after Food Paradise?
On Food Paradise's "Pork Paradise" episode (Travel Channel, aired 2013), Cochon showcased cochon de lait, a slow-roasted pork dish that gives the Cajun restaurant its name (cochon is French for pig). Cochon is a Cajun and Southern restaurant on Tchoupitoulas Street in New Orleans' Warehouse District, opened by chefs Donald Link and Stephen Stryjewski. The restaurant's own website, checked 2026-09-08, lists an active online ordering option but carries no dated copyright or current-year page text on its own. Yelp's listing for Cochon, updated September 2026 with more than 9,000 photos and 5,500 reviews, and Facebook's page showing the business as currently open, both indicate the restaurant continues to operate with regular hours at the same Tchoupitoulas Street address.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
