What happened after Food Paradise?
Food Paradise's Bacon Paradise 2: Another Slab, which aired in 2012, featured Grub, a Hollywood comfort-food restaurant known for hearty breakfast and brunch fare served in a converted 1920s bungalow with a garden patio. Grub was run by chef/owners Betty Fraser, a Top Chef alum, and Denise DeCarlo, according to a Regarding Her Food profile of the pair's business. Yelp's listing for Grub, updated 2026-07, marks the Seward Street restaurant permanently closed. The Regarding Her Food profile reports that Fraser and DeCarlo closed Grub after roughly two decades in business, kept their catering company, Grub Gals Catering, and converted the same bungalow into an event-rental venue, Hollywood's Hidden House. Google Places now lists Hollywood's Hidden House and Grub Gals Catering as operational at the address. No source shows the Grub restaurant itself reopening under any name.
