What happened after Food Paradise?

Food Paradise's Bacon Paradise 2: Another Slab, which aired in 2012, showcased Bacon, an Austin restaurant built entirely around bacon-driven dishes, from bacon-topped entrees to bacon-infused desserts and drinks. The restaurant opened in 2011 on West 10th Street near North Lamar Boulevard and drew a following that included visiting celebrities, according to CultureMap Austin. CultureMap Austin reported on 2016-10-17 that Bacon had closed its 10th Street location, citing years of flood damage after Shoal Creek overflowed into the corridor during the Memorial Day 2015 floods.

Community Impact separately reported the same closure, citing the flooding as the cause. CultureMap Austin noted that a letter posted on the restaurant's website said the owners hoped to relocate. The restaurant's website now returns a server error, and Google Places marks the 10th Street location permanently closed; no source shows the restaurant reopening elsewhere under the Bacon name.
