What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
"International Appeal" featured Green Papaya, a Thai and Laotian food truck in Stockton run by chef-owner Mony Vangsoulatda. She prepared street-food staples including papaya salad, drunken noodles, laap, and nam khao, along with Kao Piek, a garlicky chicken noodle soup made with her own hand-cut noodles. The truck built a following serving Lao and Thai dishes rarely found elsewhere in the Central Valley. According to Yelp, the listing for Green Papaya at 6262 Pacific Ave in Stockton was updated in July 2026 with more than 600 reviews and no indication the business had closed.
Google Places lists the same address as operational. Visit Stockton's tourism business directory also lists Green Papaya at the Pacific Avenue address, using the shortened "Green Papaya" name rather than the "Green Papaya Food Truck" name used during the original 2016 episode.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
