What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?

"Succulent Sandwiches" featured Pilot House Marina & Restaurant, a waterfront seafood spot and marina in Key Largo that has served the Upper Keys since 1950. The restaurant paired dockside dining with fresh local seafood, building a reputation as a longtime fixture along the Overseas Highway. The business's own website, pilothousemarina.com, showed a 2026 copyright notice and current information on its restaurant, waterfront bar, and boat-slip rentals during a September 2026 check, describing itself as "A Florida Keys Favorite Since 1950." Yelp's listing for the same Seagate Boulevard address was updated in June 2026 with no closure notice. Google Places separately marks the location as temporarily closed, a status flag that predates both the more recently updated website and Yelp listing cited above.
